Projity enhances Project-ON-Demand ‘Team Member' functionality

SaaS model lets Team Members update projects anytime/anyplace

SAN MATEO, CA, October 7, 2006— Projity is announcing significant enhancements for project teams using Project-ON-Demand. Projity has added many new features for Team Members. Project-ON-Demand is a complete replacement of Microsoft Project. A significant benefit using Project-ON-Demand is the ability to manage projects anytime/anyplace. Teams can manage projects completely in a browser. A major problem using Microsoft Project is the complexity and cost for teams to access project information. Project teams who are in different locations cannot access their project information without complex and costly configurations. Projity replaces the “Microsoft Mess” with Project-ON-Demand, a SaaS solution delivered on a monthly subscription in a browser. Project teams have immediate access to their projects regardless of location with no manual installation.

The new Project-ON-Demand update screen lets Team Members update tasks either by checking a ‘complete' button or entering a percent complete for each task. “ Team Members can update tasks with no knowledge of project management and in a browser regardless of location or operating system” added O'Brien.

Projity has also added Gantt Chart and Network Diagram ( PERT Chart) views for Team Members. These new views produce real time images in either .svg or .png formats of the current project status. Project-ON-Demand has extended the communication and updating of project information for teams regardless of their locations. Project-ON-Demand is a complete replacement of Microsoft Project and no manual installation required. This is a significant productivity improvement for teams and is priced at only $7.99 for each Team Member. Project Managers are still priced at $19.99/month.
